Brookhaven Retreat is approximately 100 miles from Dallas, TX, and 100 miles from Shreveport, LA, near the town of Hawkins, TX. The nearest larger cities are Tyler and Longview, both about 30 miles away.

The retreat center is located at 748 County Road 3909 in Hawkins. The nearest major crossroad is FM (Farm to Market Rd) 2869, which is about 5 miles north of the Hawkins city limits, at the intersection of State Hwy 14. Visitors from the Dallas area can take I-30 East or I-20 East.

I-30 Directions: On I-30 East, about 10 miles east of downtown Dallas, take Exit 53B to Hwy 80 East toward Terrell. Highway 80 goes directly to Hawkins. Once in Hawkins, turn left on State Highway 14 (the one and only traffic light), travel about five miles to the intersection of Farm to Market Road 2869 and 14 (the only four-way stop), turn right onto 2869, travel 1.7 miles to County Road 3909 and turn left. Stay straight on County Road 3909 all the way into Brookhaven's parking lot.

I-20 Directions: Traveling east on I-20, take the Tyler State Park exit (Exit 562) and make a left onto State Highway 14 North and travel about 17 miles through the town of Hawkins to the intersection of Farm to Market Road 2869 and 14 (the only four-way stop). Turn right onto 2869, travel 1.7 miles to County Road 3909 and turn left. Stay straight on County Road 3909 all the way into Brookhaven's parking lot.
