HOW TO PARTNER WITH BROOKHAVEN RETREAT

There are a number of ways you can partner with Brookhaven Retreat to be used by God to make a difference in the lives of the children and adults who come here. One way is to pray. Please pray for the campers and guests who come here. For suggestions on how to pray effectively for this ministry, e-mail justin@brookhavenretreat.org.

Secondly, you can join us financially. Camp and retreat fees cover only initial operating expenses. Brookhaven is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and all additions and improvements to the camp/retreat center, along with scholarship monies, are made possible by the generosity of those who support this ministry monetarily.

We would be honored to have you partner with us through a one-time gift, through a monthly automatic withdrawal or through our merchant programs, which allow a percentage of your purchase amounts to go to Brookhaven. No matter how you give, you'll be promptly receipted. Please read through the options below and consider how you may be a part of this life-changing ministry.

ONE-TIME GIFTS
A one-time gift is used where it is most needed within the ministry, unless you designate the gift to a particular program or project.

Here's how to give a one-time gift:

Feed The Pig: Our annual campaign to raise money for specific projects (online or on the grounds).
Hand Delivery: You can always give a donation while you are here on the grounds. 

AUTOMATIC MONTHLY WITHDRAWAL
Authorizing an automatic monthly withdrawal is another way you can support Brookhaven's ministries. Not only does it allow you to donate without the hassle of remembering or bothering with paperwork, but it provides us with a steady flow of income to allow us to continue to minister freely as well. An automatic monthly withdrawal is established at your discretion and will run for as long as you specify. You can choose to donate to Brookhaven’s general fund, or designate your donation to a specific area. You also have the freedom to change designations at will. We ask that you email us at justin@brookhavenretreat.org specifying your desire to change designations, and we will make that change within 48 hours. For your records, you will receive a receipt for each withdrawal specifying the date and amount withdrawn from your account.

To get started giving through an automatic monthly withdrawal, please download the authorization form, print it and follow the instructions provided on the form.

GROCERY STORES
You can help support the ministries of Brookhaven through your day-to-day shopping. Grocery stores and online shopping portals now provide opportunities for a percentage of what you spend to be donated to the camp by the store. These opportunities cost you nothing extra, but they help this ministry immensely. Please read how you can help Brookhaven help kids and others just by doing your normal shopping.

Kroger Share Card Program (TX and LA Stores Only)
Present a Brookhaven Retreat Share Card at the checkout counter every time you shop at Kroger and 1% of each purchase will be donated to Brookhaven. Pick up a card when you're here, call us at (800) 933-1894, or send an e-mail request to justin@brookhavenretreat.org.

Albertsons Community Partners Program
The first step is to sign up for an Albertsons Preferred Savings Card if you do not have one. There is no cost, and it saves you money on purchases. Then, look in the store or ask for the Community Partners form. Just fill in your name and Preferred Savings Card number, then fill in Brookhaven Retreat as the organization and include our identification number, 49001005992.

Or you can register your Preferred Savings Card in the Community Partners program online at www.Albertsons.com and designate Brookhaven as your charity. When you go to the site, in the menu on the right, click “In the Community.” Then click the Community Partners banner at the lower right. Click on “Shoppers login or register with your Preferred Savings Card first,” fill in your zip if it asks for it (sometimes it requires this step), then fill in your card number and phone number, then on the next screen just enter the Brookhaven identification number, 49001005992.

From then on, for every purchase you make, Albertsons will donate 1-4% of your total bill to Brookhaven.

If you have multifple people to enroll in the program, simply click here to download a form for multiple supporters, have them fill in their information, and mail the completed form to Albertsons at the address on the form. If you have trouble downloading the pdf form, contact us and we'll mail or fax it to you.
