  December. It conjures up images of family, gift
giving, and school programs, among other events. But have you
considered the value of holding a retreat in December?
December has become a surprisingly popular retreat month. Many
groups find year's end to be a great time to refocus for the
New Year---to drop the baggage that often comes from 12 months
of work, worry, and the world in general. On the other hand,
it can also be a time of celebration---a time to praise God
for all His good gifts.

Another option is to host a New Year's
celebration for your group. Brookhaven is known for its annual
4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza, but few realize that we'll
also put on a fireworks show for New Year's Eve. What's more,
we charge nothing extra to provide this service for our groups
that: (a) pay our regular rate, rather than a discounted rate,
(b) bring a minimum of 115 people and (c) request it. We can also decorate your
meeting space for Christmas, provide a campfire, and serve
festive foods at mealtime to help make your event extra
special.
