Brookhaven offers 14 weeks of summer camp for kids from early June through mid-August. A typical summer camp session is four nights and 12 meals, although we occassionally open two or three weeks for shorter or longer sessions. For most sessions, our minimum number of campers in the summer is 135, but we do reserve a week or two for smaller groups to share the facilities. Brookhaven's maximum capacity is 300.

Brookhaven hosts back-to-back summer camp sessions, meaning sessions are not necessarily Monday-Friday because the camp is in operation every day, including weekends.

During the summer, Brookhaven has a rec team that does lifeguarding, challenge course facilitation, and group ice breakers as a part of the standard program. If your group desires our team to facilitate additional activities, we can negotiate a modified program. Groups bring their own speaker, artists and counselors.

If you'd like to bring a church or other group to Brookhaven for summer camp, it's best to start the process early, as our summers are typically booked six months in advance. Returning groups generally have first-right-of-refusal on their weeks.

Accommodations include private motel rooms (up to 78 people) with balconies overlooking the lake; semi-private lodge rooms (up to 30 people), some of which overlook the lake; a bunkhouse (up to 40 people); and a large, functional dorm (up to 136 people) with the meeting space built in. Conference buildings include the Nazareth conference building with space for 300, a wrap-around deck overlooking the lake, a kitchenette, tables and chairs, and a stone fireplace; the Hebron conference building with space for 125, a wrap-around deck overlooking the lake, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and tables and chairs. The dorm meeting space has room for 150, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and tables and chairs. Delicious meals are served buffet-style in nicely decorated dining rooms.
